A North Bay man faces careless driving charges after a crash resulted in thousands of dollars in property damage. West Parry Sound OPP investigated a single car collision yesterday around 4:00pm. The investigation revealed that a commercial motor vehicle was travelling westbound on Highway 124 when he drove off the roadway, hitting two parked vehicles, through a fence and came to rest in a nearby parking lot. No one was injured in the crash. The 55-year-old driver was charged with careless driving which carries a fine of $490 and six demerit points.
