McDougall Township is reaching out to area municipalities in hopes of scheduling a joint meeting to talk about economic development.
The Township is requesting officials from Carling, McKellar, Seguin, Parry Sound, Whitestone and the Township of the Archipelago meet to determine which municipalities still want to be part of an economic development collaborative.
McDougall officials say they hope to discuss organizational structure, a municipal funding model, potential partnerships, and next steps.
The West Parry Sound Economic Development Collaborative, created in 2017, was funded primarily through a FedNor grant, which expired in November.
