The Ribfest portion of Parry Sound’s Canada Day celebrations has been cancelled.
The event, which was scheduled to run from June 28 to July 1 at the Stockey Centre, will not happen due to ‘extenuating circumstances’, according to Town staff.
However, officials say Canada Day celebrations will still take place from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Stockey Centre, and include a fireworks display over the inner harbour.
More details on the event will be released in the coming weeks.
