The West Parry Sound OPP is accusing a local resident of drinking and driving. The 31-year-old was pulled over just after one in the morning on Sunday on Great North Road. The OPP says the officer doing regular patrol spoke to the driver, and claim they were drinking alcohol.
The accused was arrested and charged with fail or refuse to provide a breath sample. The driver will be in a Parry Sound court at the end of the month.
The OPP says there is no safe amount of drug or alcohol consumption while driving, and asks anyone who suspects someone is driving impaired to call 911.
