Renovated Cherry Street park opens

A revitalized Cherry Street Park is now open.

Town officials unveiled a newly installed playground at the park on July 18.

The renovation is part of a $750,000 project that will see new playgrounds installed at five parks across town. Three of those five park renovations are now complete.

Brand new equipment at Wabauno Beach and William Street parks were unveiled earlier this summer.

Crews will now move to Booth Street Park, then Mission Park, before finishing off with the waterfront trail workout station.
