The Town of Parry Sound has issued a boil water advisory for residents on Parry Sound Road from Emily Street to Claude Street.
Officials said the advisory is due to a break in the temporary watermain distribution system.
As a precautionary measure, all water used for drinking, cooking, food preparation, brushing teeth, and making ice should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute.
Officials said the advisory will remain in effect until satisfactory bacteria test have been received and reviewed by local health officials.
