The GMHL Playoffs got underway last night for the Almaguin Spartans and didn’t start the way they hoped.
The Spartans dropped a 5-2 decision to New Tecumseth last night and now must win tonight to stay alive in the best of three. Game time in South River is 7:30.
The Hall Construction Peewees are back in action taking a 2 games to 1 lead into tonight’s game at the BOCC against Ennismore at 7:30.
This weekend is also the Shamrock Challenge Bantam / Midget Tournament with games getting underway this afternoon. A full Tournament schedule can be found  here
