Seguin Township will be partnering with local businesses to establish and launch four new tourism experiences this year.
In January, the municipality was awarded grant funds from the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport, to aid in the development of tourism experiences and excursions that tap into the cruise ship market.
The municipality has partnered with KLB Consulting and will work with local tourism operators to develop new and customized experiential tourism offerings aimed at encouraging travel, extending stays, cruise ship passenger tours, and reimagining the shoulder season.
Through an application process, four local businesses will be selected to develop new tourism experience with the assistance of one-on-one coaching and training from consultants.
