Carling Town Council is doubling down on the demolition of its old community centre.
A motion was passed last week to demolish the old building, but the cost of demolition inspired council to reopen the discussion.
It will cost around $40 000 to demolish the community center.
A large part of that cost is because of the complications the asbestos used in the construction of the old building cause during a demolition.
After a brief discussion on alternatives to a costly demolition – council voted again get rid of the building.
