South River break and enter leads OPP to suspected fentanyl bust

Three men are facing charges after a break and enter in South River on March 18.

According to police, the break-in took place at the historical train station on Montreal Avenue shortly after 5:30 a.m.

Approximately 53 grams of suspected fentanyl with an estimated street value of $21,000 was seized, according to Almaguin Highlands OPP.

Police say one of the accused appeared in court in Parry Sound on March 18, while the other two men are slated to appear in court on April 25.
