Annual Radiothon supporting West Parry Sound Health Centre is Thursday

Moose FM’s 13th annual Radiothon in support of the West Parry Sound Health Centre hits the airwaves this Thursday, July 28th. Over 12 years residents of the Parry Sound District both year-round and cottagers have donated over $400,000 in support of the local Hospital.

CEO Donald Sanderson says donations from the public are key to keeping the Hospital’s equipment current saying that not everything is funded by the Government. He adds that the Hospital is so fortunate to have the public’s support to assure that they have the most up to date technology in order to provide care in a timely matter.

This year’s Radiothon is raising funds for the Health Centre’s Lab in order to replace items that the department needs to update.

The Radiothon will run Thursday from 6a.m. until 6p.m. and donations can be made by either calling 1-888-262-0436 or on-line at www.loveourhospital.com
