Parry Sound down to four active COVID-19 cases Wednesday

The local health reported one recovery from COVID-19 and no new cases from the District of Parry Sound today(Wednesday).

Parry Sound now stands at four active cases including one in hospital. 

Nipissing now stands at eight active cases after one new case was added to the district by the health unit this afternoon.   

The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit did another 50 tests for COVID-19 in Parry Sound and gave out over 14 hundred vaccine doses on the last day. 

As of this afternoon, there are more than 40,000 residents district-wide who have received at least one shot of a COVID-19 vaccine.
