The Conseil Scolaire Public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario announced Thursday Parry Sound will be getting a new high school in the fall.
The French school board says starting September, École Publique aux Quatre-Vents (Four Winds Public School) will be accepting Grade 9 students.
CSPNE said the decision was based on a request submitted by Francophone and Francophile parents in the Parry Sound area to extend high school programming in the school.
