The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is reporting a new COVID-19 case in our area.
The case is within the Parry Sound District and is the 40th case overall since the pandemic began.
The Health Unit reports the case involves a man between the ages of 40-59, who contracted the virus through close contact of another case.
The man is currently self-isolating.
The region has seen four new cases in the past two weeks after going over two months without a new case.
