PARRY SOUND, ON-The Parry Sound Chamber of Commerce has brought on a new Interim Executive Director.
Christy Cafovski, who will be taking over the position, will be acting in the role while the Chamber recruits a full-time, permanent incumbent to take on the responsibility.
This after the former Executive Director Laurie Del Net submitted her resignation.
Cafovski has been with the Chamber in a previous Executive Director role from January 2018 to July 2019, and she runs her own company as a business coach and planning consultant.
“We look forward to welcoming Christy back,” said Dr. David Clinning, Vice President of the Chamber. “She connects with our members and helps them with their business concerns.”
Past President of the board, Gail Burrows, said they are very fortunate to have Cafovki join the team now to provide assistance as they move forward in support of their members during the pandemic.
