Charges have been laid against a man after he was found drinking a beer in the garage of someone else’s home.
West Parry Sound OPP say last Thursday, around 7:30 a.m., the owners of a residence on Rose Point Road in Seguin Township came home to find a person sitting in their garage drinking a beer.
They also noticed the man had been inside the residence as the interior was disturbed.
Officers responded and after conducting an investigation, they arrested and charged the 34-year-old man of no current address with a number of offences.
The charges include breaking and entering, unlawfully in a dwelling house, mischief under $5000 and theft under $5000.
The man is being held in custody and is set to appear for bail court at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound on Wednesday.
