Fraud charges laid against five people

PARRY SOUND, ON-The West Parry Sound OPP has arrested and charged five people involved with fraud.

On January 30th, the OPP responded to a fraud complaint, and after investigating for several months, a 46-year-old, 56-year-old, 49-year-old, and 43-year-old all from Parry Sound and a 33-year-old from Wasauksing First Nation were charged. 

The charges include possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, forging documents and fraud of under $5,000.

The accused are scheduled to appear in court on July 23rd
