Local municipalities benefiting from provincial funding

Ontario is investing 100 million dollars to help over 400 municipalities improve local infrastructure through the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund.  This includes all seven West Parry Sound municipalities which will get between $25,000 and $205,000 to update roads and bridges.  Half of the Infrastructure Fund is will be allocated annually through a formula based system, in which each municipality will be given funding based on their particular needs.  The other half is available through an application-based process.

McKellar: $25,000

McMurrich-Monteith: $25,000

Parry Sound: $205,100

Perry: $25,000

Ryerson: $25,000

Seguin: $38,400

South River: $25,000

Strong: $25,000

Sundridge: $25,000

Whitestone: $25,000
