Ontario is investing 100 million dollars to help over 400 municipalities improve local infrastructure through the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund. This includes all seven West Parry Sound municipalities which will get between $25,000 and $205,000 to update roads and bridges. Half of the Infrastructure Fund is will be allocated annually through a formula based system, in which each municipality will be given funding based on their particular needs.
