After concern was raised about students attending the two nearby schools (Parry Sound Public School and Parry Sound Intermediate and High School) the Town decided to create a four-way stop to make it easier for students wanting to cross the street.
Public Works decided to wait the few weeks until school was finished for the summer before erecting stop signs feeling that would give motorists plenty of time to get used to the stop before school starts in the Fall.
The new stop signs were installed this morning. (Tuesday)
