It is looking good for getting the 2019-2020 hockey season underway on time.
When asked about the progress being made at the Bobby Orr Community Centre, Parks and Recreation Manager April McNamara advised Council at their most recent meeting that work is going well and the facility should be good to go in time for this fall’s hockey season.
McNamara says that about three feet of sand has been put in place, compacting and contractors are laying insulation to go under the floor. Prior to this work the amount of insulation was minimal.
