Drivers in the Parry Sound area are being given the heads up on work related to the Henvey Inlet Wind Project.
PowerTel will be working in the area of Highway 400 and Oastler Park Road, interchange 217, south of Parry Sound from April 2nd to April 6th daily from 7:00am to 6:00pm.
PowerTel will be continuing the construction of two high voltage transmission lines and are warning that large equipment will be parked alongside Highway 400 at that interchange. As a result, the off and on ramps will be closed.
Crews will be pulling ropes and wire conductor overhead across the 400 highway and are asking that all drivers use extra caution while driving through this area.
