Seguin Township actively keeping track of community drinking water quality

Seguin Township is keeping on top of its community drinking water quality.

The township has been testing water quality at all of its community buildings since the beginning of the year. Water tests have come back clean for the majority of facilities. However, the Foley Community Hall tested positive for a very low count of coliform bacteria in June. As a safety precaution, the township under direction, from the North Bay Parry Sound Health Unit, cleaned and flushed the water system at the centre. The next test came back clear.

Township officials say diligent testing of water at all facilities will continue to ensure it meets the requirements of provincial standards.
