The West Parry Sound OPP was on its toes in July. During the month it responded to 991 calls for service.
Those calls included 142 property and vehicle-related crimes, 28 driving offences and nine alarm, accident and death events. There were also 25 violence-related incidents, 55 property related occurrences, Six drug-related cases, and 167 provincial statutes incidents.
The OPP says it wants to remind people that, with summer still here, there is more traffic on the roads and waterways. It’s asking you to leave yourself plenty of time and to drive carefully to make sure you get to where you’re going.
