Some residents may see power outages over the next few weeks.
Lakeland Power is upgrading power supply feeders and the electrical supply system. The utility says it’ll be transferring and connecting the new infrastructure on Parry Sound Road until August 9th.
Areas affected include Great North Road, Emily Street, Birch Avenue, Parry Sound Road, and Claude Street. People living in those areas will be given advance notice of any outages.
Lakeland Power is asking residents to help it keep the power outages as short as possible by avoiding parking near hydro poles and green hydro boxes on those specified days. If you have any questions you can call Lakeland Power at 705-645-2670.
