Seguin council has decided to create new water refill stations.
They’ll be installed throughout the township, giving residents a place to fill up bottles or jugs for free. Seguin Manager of Community Services, Dominique O’Brien says the town’s office was flooded with phone calls after the re-fill stations in Parry Sound were turned off:
The stations will be installed at The Humphrey Arena and Foley Community Centre. O’Brien says Rosseau will receive something different:
The water fountains are part of Rosseau’s attempt to achieve an Ontario-by-bike business designation funded by the province’s Main Street Revitalization project. It is not yet known when the refill stations will be open.
