William Baldwin, the lead actor in ‘Northern Rescue’ says he was directly involved in pitching the hard-hitting family drama to CBC and Netflix. Baldwin says the show can be compared to ‘Brothers and Sisters,’ a series starring Sally Field and Rob Lowe:
Baldwin will be playing a recent widower who moves his three kids from a big city to return to his small northern hometown to be closer to family and to lead a search and rescue service. He says his parts with the search and rescue will be action-packed:
The series is expected to start airing by December.
