The forest fire that’s burning in Parry Sound is now listed as “under control.”
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry’s fire info map lists the blaze as 0.3 hectares in size. Both MNRF and Parry Sound fire crews are at the scene.
Few other details are known at this time, other than the MNRF says the fire broke out around 3:20pm this afternoon and that it was human caused. Moose FM will update you when more information becomes available.
