Ahead of the air show tomorrow, The Snowbirds held a media conference, putting on a mini show at The Parry Sound Municipal airport. Snowbird 11 Captain Robbie Hindle says he is thrilled to be in Parry Sound.
Hindle says the snowbirds put on 65 shows through the summer, from coast to coast.
He says in a typical week they will put on a show on a Wednesday and then on a weekend. He says before putting on a show, a snowbird to be well rested.
Hindle says unlike other snowbirds, he didn’t know he wanted to be a pilot until later in life.
His advice to those who want to follow his path is to follow your dreams and work hard.
Hindle will be doing live play-by-play coverage of the Snowbirds on 1033 Moose FM. The show runs from 5 to 6 pm tomorrow.
