Parry Sound is on the cusp of change, that’s according to Glen Barnden, the new regional economic development officer for West Parry Sound. Barnden will continue to build on the work of The West Parry Sound Economic Development Collaborative. Barnden says he is happy to see new business coming near Oastler Park, the airport, the harbour and new entrepreneurs re-investing in the region.
Barnden says he hopes Parry Sound can continue to attract new investment and increase employment.
Barnden replaces Dustin Turner who is now Development Officer for the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines.
