Police say February was a busy month in Parry Sound.
The West Parry Sound OPP was called to 35 crashes over the month with one fatality. Five people were charged with impaired driving, one person charged with drug-impaired driving and two careless driving tickets were handed out.
Police will be looking for bad driving habits for the next week during the distracted driving campaign. OPP officials say distracted driving was the cause of 85 deaths on Ontario roads last year.
