You know spring is on the way when the conversation turns to water sports.
The 8th annual Reel Paddling Film Festival will be making its stop at the Stockey Centre in Parry Sound this Saturday afternoon.
Presented by the Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve along with White Squall, the festival will feature some of the best film footage of canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding among others.
Event organizer Kathleen McGill says proceeds from the event will go to Global Medic, an international team of first responders.

The evening begins with a social and silent auction at 5:30 pm and screening begins at 7:00 pm.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students.
