The Near North District School Board is holding a provincial candidates meeting tonight at 6:30pm at West Ferris Secondary School. It’s part of the Ontario Public School Boards’ Association declaration of Education Day in the province of Ontario tomorrow. On this day, candidates from the provincial parties have been invited to share their views and answer questions in local schools throughout the province on the issues affecting public education. The Near North District School Board encourages students, parents, seniors and other members of the public to attend tonight’s meeting or to attend their local candidates’ event to learn about the issues impacting Ontario’s public schools.
