Rough weekend in the GMHL as the Seguin Huskies lost 9-3 to South Muskoka while the Almaguin Spartans dropped a 8-5 decision to West Nipissing.
The regular season wraps next weekend.
The Seguin Huskies have three games remaining including a pair at home.
Thursday they travel to Meaford to play the Knights before returning home for home games on Saturday night (7:30 p.m.) against the Bradford Rattlers and Sunday afternoon (2:00 p.m.) when they host New Tecumseth.
The Almaguin Spartans had hoped to clinch first place in the North on Friday with a win over West Nipissing. With a 8-5 loss the Spartans (who have the week off) will have to wait and see.
The Spartans play their final regular season game on the road in Temiscaming.
