The prospect of a swimming pool in Parry Sound is drawing more interest from community organizations.
Both the Near North District School Board and the YMCA are reaching out to area municipalities regarding the recreation centre/pool complex.
In its letter to the seven Parry Sound area mayors, the board of education says it hopes to tie together planning of the pool complex with the design of its new Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12 school.
