Two local athletes are on their way the Winter Games in South Korea.
MacTier’s own Chris Lee will part of Canada’s 2018 Men’s Olympic Hockey team.
The full Team Canada roster was announced yesterday in Calgary.
The 37-defenceman and former Shamrock is currently with the Kontinental Hockey League in Europe.

Lee was also on Team Canada last year when then won silver at the World Championships in France and Germany.
Lee will be joined in South Korea by Parry Sound’s Mark Ideson, skip for Canada’s 2018 Paralympic Wheelchair Curling Team.
