There are big changes to a number of committees in Parry Sound. On Tuesday night, Parry Sound council accepted the resignation of Angelica Distler, Katrine Floegel Martin, and Brittney Mahnke from the Downtown Business Association, Jo Bossart from the Stockey Centre Advisory Committee and the Rail Safety Committee, and Lis McWalter from the Waterfront Advisory Committee. After accepting the resignations, council then accepted the appointments of Cathy Downing, Sue Sullivan, and David Coles to the DBA and the appointment of Bob Bowland to the Waterfront Advisory Committee. The terms for all of the new appointees end on November 30th, when the newly elected council will officially take over.
