The Parry Sound Walk for ALS is now open for registration.
The 5 km walk is happening September 16, starting at 10 am at the Bobby Orr Community Centre.
The Walk for ALS is the largest volunteer fundraiser for ALS in Canada. Walks like the one in Parry Sound are set to take place all over the country. The money raised in the Parry Sound Walk will be split 60/40 between client services and ALS research.
Client services refers to direct service for patients, educational information, health care referrals, home visits and many other services provided by the ALS Society.
