Ice hut users have until just before midnight tonight to remove permanent ice huts off interior lakes. The deadline to remove ice huts for Zone 15 in Parry Sound and Muskoka is 11:59 tonight. Fines for failing to comply can range from a minimum of one-hundred-and-fifty-dollars to a maximum of twenty-five-thousand. Temporary ice huts are still allowed on the lakes as long as it’s safe to use them, but they must come off the lake at the end of each day.
