Fundraising efforts for a community member in need are underway.
Sarah Pyyko is a local woman, and mother, is recovering from a brain aneurysm. She’s currently in a coma in a Toronto hospital.
Pyyko is set to recover, but it will cost her partner a large amount of money to look after her as she’s brought out of her coma.
Saturday night is the big event for Sarah. It takes place at Rumorz Nightclub.
The minimum donation is five dollars at the door.
Dairy Queen will also be putting on a special promotion on Saturday, where sales on certain items will go to Sarah’s Road to recovery.
