Carling township increases its budget

Carling Township is increasing its budget.
The township voted in favour of a 4.8% increase from last year.
Councillors cited a number of reasons for the increase, including a number of expensive projects on the horizon.
One of the bigger motivating factors of raising the budget was that they hadn’t raised it in previous years.
Carling Council is in the process of finalizing its budget.
The town hopes to see its budget approved by mid March.
