Stingers U17 Girls Basketball

The team travelled to Muskoka Woods for a mini tournament Sunday. Our first game was against Orillia which was a close match, but Stingers fell short 33-44. Top scorers were Katilyn Kane and Kamryn Elkin with 6 points each. Second game was against Midland where Stingers were very gelled as a team and won 46-21.Top scorers were Katilyn Kane with 11, Kamryn Elkin with 10 and Emma Sypulski and Wryin Staszkiel with 9 points each.    Our third game was against our rivals, Sudbury, where we are pushed to play smart and quick. However with some give aways and not quite making the net, we lost a good fight of 21-51. Top scorers were Emma Sypulski with 8 and Kamryn Elkin with 5 points.
