The OPP has named a new Traffic and Marine Unit Commander for the North East Region.
Inspector Scott Hlady was named yesterday by OPP Commissioner Vince Hawkes.
Hlady says he has extensive experience in specialized policing services and is excited to work with community and policing partners throughout the North East Region to ensure a high level of traffic and marine safety. Â He has been with the OPP for 19 years including being promoted to Staff Sergeant Regional Manager of Forensic Identification Services for North East Region in 2013.
