Highway 11 speeder shouldn’t have been driving. OPP in Almaguin Highlands were patrolling the highway in Strong Township last Thursday morning around 8:20am when an officer stopped a vehicle for speeding and found that the diver had a suspended licence. It was also found that the driver was not the registered owner of the vehicle and didn’t have permission to be driving it. Police arrested the 46-year-old man from Rexdale and charged him with driving while under suspension, speeding, and taking a vehicle without consent. He’ll face those charges in a Sundridge Court in late March.
