A Parry Sound man was tasered after police allegedly caught him pointing a gun.
On Friday, police responded to a 9-1-1 call at an apartment building on Railway Avenue.
Police kicked in the door of the apartment and were reportedly confronted by a man with a gun.
The man was tasered and then arrested.
Police later found what appeared to be a glock was actually a gas powered pellet gun.
The 45-year-old Parry Sound man face a charge of careless use of a weapon.
He will appear in court in Parry Sound on October 20th.
