The 7th Annual Moose FM Radiothon for the West Parry Sound Health Centre Foundation was a major success.
This from foundation Executive Director Lynn Atkinson, who says she was very happy to see the amount of support the fundraiser received from such a small community.
Just over $35,000 was raised and that amount will be matched by Walling and Julia Ruby to bring it up over $70,000.
Atkinson says this is a good start to get to the $1 million goal so the hospital can switch to electronic health records.
Atkinson is sending her thanks to the community for the amazing amount of support shown for this initiative.
Moose FM staff rallied from 6:00am to 6:00pm on Thursday to raise the funds for the foundation.
