Police charged three people in their third week of their Festive R.I.D.E. checks. Almaguin Highlands OPP says they stopped just fewer than 350 vehicles over the past week. Police handed out a ticket for failure to stop at a stop sign, driving without insurance and driving without a validated permit. Police did not arrest anyone for drinking and driving during their program. They continue to remind all drivers to never drink and drive.
