Homeowners in Parry Sound are being reminded by Hydro officials to make sure their holiday outdoor lighting is safe and secure. During the holiday season, houses across the region will be into the festive spirit. When it comes to the right lighting to use, Alyssia Sayers with HydroOne says always use Canadian Standards Association approved lights.
Sayers says homeowners can save money by switching to LED lights.
She also reminds everyone to be safe this holiday season and not to overload any circuits.
Electrical connections should be off the ground at all times and never install the lights with the power on, always test them first, then unplug and install.
