Police along with fire crews and EMS rescued a man whose canoe flipped over in Burks Falls. Almaguin Highlands OPP says they rescued the man on Pickerel Lake on Friday afternoon. They say he did have his lifejacket on at the time and did not appear to be injured. The 39-year-old from Stratford was later taken to hospital and treated with non-life threatening injuries.
