Local police are warning businesses and residents of counterfeit bills circulating the area. West Parry Sound OPP has been informed that counterfeit United States currencies have been passed in our neighbouring communities. The currency involved is $100 bills that have been used to buy pre-paid credit cards at businesses in the West Nipissing area. Anyone with information about who is using the bills is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
