A new documentary series featuring the Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve is set to launch.
The eight-part documentary series called “Striking Balance” is about Canada’s Biosphere Reserves and will launch this fall on TVO in Ontario. Film crews visited Georgian Bay over the past two years to film in all seasons and capture the wildlife, research, and livelihoods of the area to understand the balance between people and nature.
The film series will kick-off with a free public screening of two episodes, one of them being the local episode, this Friday at the Stockey Centre in Parry Sound beginning at 7:00pm. Each episode is 50 minutes in length, with an intermission in between, and the film makers available to answer any question.
